Does anyone know a company in Sweden which manufactures custom propshaft, just as Bailey Morris (http://www.baileymorris.co.uk/kitcar.asp) does in the UK? My local engineering shop don't want to shorten the one I have from my donor, so I guess I'll have to buy a custom made one :(/> I live in Kronoberg, close to Växjö. I'm building a Haynes Roadster with 2.0i DOHC engine and a MT75 gearbox from a Ford Sierra 2.0i CLX 1992. Thank you very much in advance for your replies. therealpinto Posted April 10, 2013 Share Posted April 10, 2013 There is a company called Svea Kardan in Stockholm but they are usually quite busy. A lot of Swedes buy from UK, Northwest Propshafts or Dunning and Fairbank for example. In many cases it works just as well. Otherwise I guess I will have to order it from the UK, I've sent enquiries to 3 different companies, so we'll see... I'll post the result of my researches here when I get all the answers. pelle17B Posted April 10, 2013 Share Posted April 10, 2013 I used a small company in Kimstad in the vincinity of Linköping. They shorted and balanced my propshaft. The price was very different from Svea Kardan :-). Beställde vid middagstid förra tisdagen, fick svar på tio minuter att jag skulle maila mitt telefon nummer så de kunde ringa när delarna var klara att skicka. kl 13:00 onsdag fick jag samtalet och vi gjorde upp betalningen. Valde ekonomileverans snål som man är, men kunde hämta paketet i Skellefteå i Tisdags. Jag är klart imponerad.
