Än så länge har jag bara snabbtittat men det verkar vara en vettig bok som också handlar om Megasquirt till viss del. Kvällsläsningen är räddad! amazon.co.uk amazon.com (med ett par recensioner) Jag återkommer med en oerhört djup recension när jag läst från pärm till pärm. (om cirka tio år) Ni som bor i närheten av mig kan få korttidslåna den om det kör ihop sig med ert elektronikmekande - men jag tycker den verkar vara värd sitt pris. Köp den. This book explains how EFI works and covers many aspects of EFI installation and tuning, including: Tools for working with electronics How to build a good wiring hanress Selecting injectors, throttle bodies, fuel pumps, and other EFI system components A comparison of various standalone EFI systems currently on the market Dyno tuning and other tuning methods Piggyback devices Chips and stock ECU hacks Troubleshooting EFI installations The angle we tried to come from with our book was to take an approach to EFI systems and tuning from a purely practical angle, leaving out some of the super technical details that may tend to bog some down, and just trying to write about what the reader would need to know to make their project happen. I think we did a good job at that and I hope you do too. We cover all the basics, and then dive into tuning on the track and on the dyno, with very practical 'how to tune' type walkthroughs (fuel and ignition timing) to help the reader understand the process and remove some of the mystery. We also cover some common, and not-so-common, troubleshooting scenarios, and we finish up with a few 'cases studies' of cars we've done installs on, trying to show some of the unique issues one might need to overcome and questions that may need to be answered. This is not a MegaSquirt specific book but does speak from our experience, and a TON of that is obviously with the MegaSquirt lines of EFI systems. You will recognize many of the tuning software screenshots and other references/images, I'm sure. That said,the MegaManual is HIGHLY recommended for anyone diving into a MegaSquirt project, and highly education for someone diving into ANY EFI project. If you're doing a MegaSquirt and going to read one or the other, start with the MegaManual, it's free and it's good. We think we have some excellent 'further reading' for you here however if you're interested. We owe a huge thanks to all of the core group of the MegaSquirt project, Bruce, Al, Lance, James, Ken, Phil R, Phil T, Eric. Jag köpte en annan bok i USA för ett par veckor sen, Greg Banish bok "Designing and tuning high performance fuel injection systems" men den tappade jag lite lusten för då system med luftflödesmätare bara nämns i en bisats... Det kom även med lite andra intressanta böcker om växellådor och bakaxlar. för något år sedan köpte jag boken "Four-Stroke Performence Tuning av Graham Bell - det är en mycket bra bok - som författare skiljer han mellan vad han vet och vad han tror - mängder av tester tas upp - det är min uppslagsbok - till denna vänder jag alltid när det är något som jag funderar på - köp den boken, du kommer inte att ångra dig. 35 sidor ägnar han till att förklara insprutning på ett mycket bra sätt, övriga sidor är bara bonus kenneth lundgren Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
