Hope English is ok for a change.. my Swedish is real bad.. so couldn't understand much on my search on M90 - White block Volvo engine
I'm new here and am looking for info on using a B4204T engine from S40 on my new project. I understand the M90 gearbox from a 960 straight 6 cyl. should fit. Although with the M90 I have no idea on clutch and if some changes are needed on the 'top' bearing (gearbox - flywheel)?
I got a B4204T engine but no gearbox.. still looking these are quite rare and expensive here. What should I watch out for? All info is welcome. What price should I expect to pay for a used gearbox? I'm located in the Netherlands.
Are other options possible, done? BMW gertrag?, Supra?, T5 BW, T56 has been done I saw somewhere. (corvette, viper 6 speed).
